If you’ve been to our website recently, you will have noticed there’ve been a few changes. We’ve redeveloped our jobs database, scrapped some pages, added new ones and developed three amazing new tools – Know Your CV, Know Your Skills and the Regional Job Matcher.
That’s a lot of change!
So here’s a six-step challenge for you to best use our website in your quest for career success.
1. Know Your Skills
Figuring out what you can offer employers is the first step. When you’re writing a CV and you’re trying to come up with things you’re good at it, can be hard to see the forest for the trees. Get a better idea of the skills you possess with know your skills.
2. Regional Job Matcher
Now that you’ve got a better idea about skills and abilities, find out what jobs are available in your region/province with the regional job matcher. This is our latest tool and it’s awesome!
3. Know Your CV
There’s a lot to know about CVs. Know your CV breaks it down into bite size pieces with examples and insights into creating targeted CVs that employers will notice.
4. Jobs Database
So you’ve seen a few jobs in the regional job matcher that’d be right up your alley? Get details like pay information, physical requirements, job opportunities and entry requirements at our jobs database, featuring over 400 jobs.
5. CVs and cover letters – getting started
You’ve probably got a few specific questions about writing a CV and cover letter. How many pages should it be? Who should the cover letter be addressed to? How should a CV and cover letter be ordered? Find out at the CV and cover letter hub here.
6. Preparing for an interview
